HHS 1958 Magazine - at last...


At last!

Owing to a scanner with peculiar habits, I've resorted to an Ipad and Dropbox to get these pics into some sort of shape, so please forgive the amateur appearance! As I wade through the rest of  'em, I should be able to improve the quality!

Some OBs will remember a few names here; there was another magazine in 1957, but I've never seen a copy, so if anyone has such a valuable edition, I can post it here (as long as you scan it for me...)!

Reading some of the forgotten articles, there's a reference on page 24, to St Wilfrid's school in Hawkhurst! This old place is just a few yards down the road from our house, and became Lillesden School for girls, then Bedgebury Lower School. My wife taught there on two separate occasions! It's now apartments...

Finally, it's interesting to see the logo dreamed up for the Hydneye Press, right at the end - - it looks remarkably like some bird on Twitter...
